Chopper Twirls Out of Control into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline
A helicopter flying above a popular California shoreline suddenly started spinning uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm groves as onlookers watched.
Footage uploaded online capture the aircraft commencing to spiral above the shoreline then plunging near the edge of the beach, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a steps adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Details
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Information on their condition were still under review.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.
